Educate • Empower • Inspire

SheEqual is a Youth lead organization working to promote Women and Girls Rights in Bangladesh through different development activities, Storytelling, Research, Volunteering, Raising awareness, Campaign design, organizing capacity building training and workshops for the youth as well as the community people. We also circulate the women rights related laws, remarkable judgments and success stories within the community along with the digital spaces. We are very much committed to continue a promising advocacy for combating gender stereotypes and advancement of Women and Girls Rights in Bangladesh.

Our Programs

Raising Awareness

RAISING AWARENESS

We organize different community awareness programs, court yard sessions, campaigns at grassroots level to share the necessary information regarding the prevention and response of gender-based violence against Women and Girls, like intimate partner violence, sexual harassment, Rape, Child marriage, Dowry, Physical abuse, Emotional abuse, Verbal abuse, Online harassment, Menstruation hygienic and Myths, acid throwing, Abduction and so on.

Workshops

TRAINING AND WORKSHOP

We organise different capacity building training and workshops for empowering and motivating them to develop their capacity and leadership skills to be the agents of change for gender equality.

Storytelling

STORY TELLING

We promote inspiring stories and achievements of women & girls around the globe to let the world know how incredible women are. And on top of that It might be the source of courage for other dreamers to pursue their dreams on the same path.

Supporting Woman

SUPPORTING WOMAN

We have a specialized team to provide psychosocial support to the women and girls who are the victim of gender-based violence. Also, we help the survivors to get legal assistance from police stations, one stop crisis centers, and other relevant service providers.

Youth Volunteering

MOBILISING YOUTH VOLUNTEERS

Mobilizing youth in volunteerism is one of our signature works to advance women and girls' livelihood in the community.

Content development

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

We develop and disseminate the necessary contents including Gender equity & justice, GBV service providers, emergency helpline numbers, Women support center, State Laws, Punishment and remarkable judgment of the court for the protection of Women’s rights.
